Welcome to my blog.
You’re here because you want to read interesting stuff. I will try my best to give you that.
But before we jump in, I think it’s only normal for me to tell you a thing or two (or five) about this blog and its author, Me.
First, about the blog.
It is everything.
It is not just a Fashion Blog, Art Blog, Style Diary, Personal Diary, Review Blog, Music Blog, or a writing journal.
It is ALL OF THAT in one.
I like a lot of different things and I like to write about them. So, anticipate; there’ll be a lot of writing.
When I first opened this blog, I was under pressure about what niche I wanted it to be but now that I think of it, the idea of secluding yourself to just one area of life (or blogging, in this case) is scary. I don’t want that.
So the niche of this blog is “Everything”. If there’s no existing niche like that, I’ll invent it.
Now, on to me.
I’m Adesewa Amenahwonelegberoria (Ame, for short) Senbanjo. I’m 17. I’m Nigerian.
I love Visual Art. Drawing, painting and craft making has always been a part of me and I indulge in it without any thought.
I love Music and I’m always listening to it. I like it when a song exists to express my mood (because I have a lot of trouble expressing it myself). I write songs all the time.
I’ve had a thing for fashion since I was as young as four. Not only do I illustrate fashion, but I like reading about it. Style and Fashion were actually the main topics I was going for with this blog but then, I was like “What the heck? Let’s incorporate other things”
I write. A lot. No pen or paper is safe when I’m around. In primary school, creative writing was the only subject I lived for. With so many ideas and thoughts roaming about in my head (and me not being able to open my mouth and say them like a normal person), I always have a pen and a book with me to jot down any and everything. I write a broad base of things too - poetry, scripts, Stories, etc. I actually wrote a book that is currently in the works of being published.
I consider myself a drama queen. Not just the type that’s all “Oh me, Oh my! I hate my life” (though, I am really good at that one too), but like, ACTUAL DRAMA. As a little kid, acting scared me and I avoided it at all costs but now, theatre is really intriguing. I took acting classes for a few weeks before finally leaving secondary school and I fell in love. The idea of being anyone you can create in your head is very exciting.
This is just the first post and I’m already rambling… it’s a talent.
Okay. Let’s make this quick.
I can be pretty egotistical sometimes (you can tell from how much I just rambled) but I can also be really shy and low self-esteemed too. The thing is I’m constantly shifting. I’m never fully one person. You get?

Have you ever heard “pretty girl” by Maggie Lindemann? That song sums me up perfectly. Go listen to it if you haven’t and get an idea of who’s writing this blog.
I’m going to be sharing life experiences too. Cringe-worthy moments, advice on boys, life, school and all that (not so) fun stuff. I really don’t want anyone else to fall into the same pits that I did when I was younger… I sound like a senior citizen, LOL!
Stay with me and I’ll tell you more. You’ll also learn other (and way more important) stuff.
This blog is a journey for me. The journey of a 17 year old Nigerian who’s broke all the time, still trying to get into college, not really sure of what she’s going to do when she does get into college, seems to never be able to stay away from drama (the “oh my!” kind) and is obsessed with art, fashion, music and a lot more.
Tempting storyline, isn’t it? Follow me and see how it ends (That sounds more like a threat than an invite).
