So, I’m becoming obsessed with oils.
Coconut oil
Castor oil
Almond oil
Olive oil
ALL OF THEM. They are literally gifts from God and they work wonders! (check out my coconut oil journey Here if you don’t believe me).
Today we’re going to talk about castor oil.
My mum bought a bottle of it recently and I’ve used it about three times on my eyelashes and eyebrows.
Why? Because;
1) I’ve always dreamed of having super long eyelashes and thick eyebrows
2) Every site I’ve checked while searching for how to get longer lashes talks about one thing – castor oil
3) When you’ve got naturally long eyelashes, who needs fake ones, am I right?
4) I’m TERRIFIED of fixing on fake lashes
So yes, I’ve been applying it on my facial hair. I never really made a routine out of it, though. I just applied it whenever I remembered.
Nevertheless, here are the results.
NOTE: I simply dipped a cotton swab (or q-tip, as some people like to call it) into the oil and applied it to my lashes like I was applying mascara. Then I just rubbed some castor oil unto my eyebrows with my fingers.
ANOTHER NOTE: Don’t let it get into your eyes! Castor oil hurts like hell!
This is what my eyebrows and lashes looked like before I used castor oil.
This is what it looked like after.
This is what it looks like when I brush it out and apply some more castor oil.
People.
Are you seeing this? Because I’m seeing it.
My eyebrows look fuller! And my lashes, definitely longer.
Not to mention the fact that I can actually pull my eyelashes with my fingers and they don’t fall out. Yep. They got stronger.
So, we’ve reached a verdict. Want longer lashes? Get yourself a bottle of castor oil and apply it on your facial hair.
Later.
