Oh my God!
I’m so sorry for not posting anything basically all of two weeks! You wouldn’t believe me if I told you it was PHCN (The power holding company of Nigeria)’s fault.
Can you believe the power went out on CHRISTAMS EVE?!
Can you also believe that it wasn’t fixed until THE NIGHT OF BOXING DAY?!
Yes. We literally spent our entire Christmas in darkness. Just like last year. And the year before that.
I’m tired of this country, men.
Since the times of missing the posts on Christmas eve and Christmas day, I just got utterly confused and stopped posting.
I don’t really want to recall what went down this Christmas but I can tell you I cooked a lot and I also ate a lot.
Now, we’re in the NEW YEAR!
Let’s hope I don’t spend this one in darkness as well.
I know 2020 is going to be MY YEAR!
This is not one of those new year, new me expressions that I’ve come to hate so much (because we all know that you may change for the first two months but after that, it’s over. You’re going back to last year’s self). This is the real deal.
First off, I’m going to college this month. COLLEGE! After 3 years of trying, I’m actually going to get in.
Secondly, my first act in the new year is to begin publishing works on my book. No more holding back. No more hesitation. I am publishing that book.
Thirdly, all my plans have a starting line now because I asked one of my aunts to give me money as a Christmas gift and she said yes! Now, I can totally utilize it for my book’s publication and the like.
That reminds me. My aunt!
I can’t just receive a present from her without giving anything back. That’s shitty. So, I’ve been thinking up things I could make that is durable, useful and beautiful.
I was thinking along the lines of jewelry and keyholders but I don’t know, does that sound lame?
Probably.
If you have any ideas for gifts I can make for my possibly about 28 or 29-year-old aunt, I’d really appreciate it.
Now on to my college issues.
I haven’t bought anything yet! No clothes, no underwear, no room dΓ©cor, nothing!
I also haven’t read my ‘before college booklist yet’.
Some time after my SAT exam in May this year, I went into the library in my house and picked some seriously motivational and life-changing books from there. I vowed to make sure I read them before going to college because I wanted to go to college with the right attitude and perspective on life. I want my college life to be the epitome of success (unlike my secondary and primary school days). I want to be valedictorian and a distinguished member of the society. I want to help lots of people and leave my marks in the sands of college.
But first, I had to do research on what it means to be successful and eminent.
I picked those books and I knew those were exactly what I needed (seriously, why hadn’t I read them before?)
The thing is, I’ve not finished one. And college time is fast approaching.
Someone, shoot me.
Let’s just hope I can finish it all in time. If you can imagine it, you can achieve it, right?
Now, on to very pressing matters.
This blog.
We have a situation about the blog name Impulsive Creative.
It is everywhere. Like literally everywhere. If you search for Impulsive creative on google, you’d see so many other organizations and companies using that name or something extremely similar. I don’t want to have a blog that has a unique name. Unlike any other.
Which leads me to this plan.
I have an old blog named Adesewa Forever. I really love that name and I think it’s unique and unlike any other thing out there. Also, it’d look super cute on merchandises if I decided to start selling some.
So, I’m going to change this blog’s name to Adesewa Forever. Then I’ll delete the original Adesewa Forever blog so that I can use the URL www.adesewaforever.blogspot.com for this blog.
Do you understand? Because I barely do.
Anyway, I guess I’m just trying to tell you all to get ready for changes. 2020 is coming with a lot of them.
