One month in College - My life so far (with pictures)

 It has not been easy. I'm not going to lie. I've had 5 emotional breakdowns and my health suffered greatly. I was in such a bad shape that i took an impromptu trip back home where i went through therapy to get myself back.
Honestly, if i were to begin the number of events that has happened to me in the short period of time, I've spent at Cotonou, i'd drown you.in stories and loops and all that shit.
But just to mention a few, in the short span of time that I've been here, I've;
- been kissed by a guy i had no feelings for whatsoever and gotten into a fight with him because he just suddenly kissed me but i think we're okay now?..... um.... moving on
- been made the class representative for several Mass Communication courses
- gotten into a 'friend with benefits' kind of situations crush of mine, though, it seems like it was just a one time thing (AND NO, WE'RE NOT HAVING SEX, JEEZ! GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER! Plus, even if i was, that's not even your business so like..... moving on.... again...)
- been nominated as 'Miss Mass Comm' for the Mass Communication department
- kissed another dude who is also a crush
- developed a reputation as a competent leader so every other person wants to follow my lead when we're given group and class activities
gotten into a fight with an (ex)crush of mine but i think we've made up now.... i think?
- written and published the first chapter of the series i'm working on at Tush Stories.com, omfg!!!
- gotten into a super awkward rut with my 'friend with benefits' friend's ex
- been the bigger person in the toughest of situations (i.e, having a fight with my roommate and still having to open up, be vulnerable and apologize to her even when i'm not at fault) and I've gotten praised for it!!!
- been hit on by a lecturer
- been independent and self reliant for such a long period of time )fro someone who had never been away from home for more than a day, this is a very good accomplishment)
- been hit on by someone from the BOARD OF DIRECTORS of the university

So as you can see, shit has happened. But good things have happened and i'm highly grateful for those things.
Of all the accomplishments, think the greates one so faris that i've made friends.
And not just any friends, friends that i can rely on through thick and thin. Friends that are always ready to help when there's a problem. Friends who are as ready to smack sense into me as they are ready to hold me when there's a problem.
I'm glad and can safely say i've done good. I met people who matched my standards. I've formed a niche for myself at my school and we have a really good reputation.
Yes, i'm happy right now. Very happy.
I'm going to go soon 'cause it's 2:03 am right now and i need sleep 'cause i have a french test at 8 am. Here are some pictures of the best memories i've had at Benin Republic. It's safe to say that more are still to come.
