Lockdown Life

Yo.
You want to give me a proper lashing, I’m aware. I should have posted more content by now (Sewa, wtf).
Well, I’m here now. And I want to make this time count. But let me ask, how have you been?
The corona virus problem really hit us hard, didn’t it?
I hope you all aren’t suffering too much and to those who have lost people they love during this period, my sincerest condolences. I hope God gives you a reason to smile again soon.
Anyway, here on my end, things have been… good. Really good actually.
I’m not pleased with the epidemic or the fact that people are dying but this lockdown has seriously been good to me
I couldn’t eat well all the while I was in Benin Republic but now that I’m back home, I’ve done nothing but eat (my mum approves too. She said I looked like I was about to die when I first came home, lol)
Then I’ve been able to be creative again.
Can you believe I hadn’t drawn since February? Insane, I know!
I’ve been drawing nonstop since I got home. I even turned it into a business! I now draw people’s portraits and get paid!
Like, my flow has been tight lately. So much that I even did a 5-day drawing challenge (will fill in more on that later).
Then there’s my writing, omg my writing!
I’ve told y’all about my TushStories thingy right? Well, I started another book that I post regularly on Facebook.
It’s been working out so well! I’m developing an audience (slow but progressive) and the feedback I’m getting about the story really makes me want to jump off the roof (in a happy way).
Plus, I’ve been catching up to my quota of making YouTube videos. I think I’ve made about 5 or so.
So yeah, it’s really been a creative space for me.

And I feel it should be the same for others.
Just because you’re on lockdown doesn’t mean you should spend the whole time sleeping, watching movies, eating, and fucking your boyfriends/girlfriends.
Do creative things too. Be productive. Get some schmoney into your pocket.
Anyway, I guess that’s all I have to say right now.
I’ll be back with more content later (I actually mean it this time)
Peace out.

Oh yeah, btw, this is what I’m wearing.

Shorts! I can’t believe it either! My mum hasn’t seen me in them though, or she would skin me alive, lol. They’re not actually mine. A roomie gave them to me back at the hostel when she realized (in absolute astonishment) that I didn’t have even ONE pair of shorts and I was going to a beach party (I was planning on wearing jeans, y’all!)
Well, I’ve fallen in love with this pair and before I go back to Benin, I’m definitely going to buy more, whether mum likes it or not.
Definitely.
